Deutsche Classical, our own label with Sifei Wen, specialises in these formats. We believe that sophisticated audio production is now finding its natural, dedicated markets with greater ease, as more listeners are prepared to invest considerably in state-of-the-art professional and premium home-listening systems, as well as futuristic equipment at the highest reaches of hi-fi.

I have developed my contemporary vision for SOMM’s expansion around one important addition to its media production: high-end HD vinyl and reel-to-reel tape releases, together with hi-res Golden CDs manufactured in Japan, and dedicated hi-res downloads offered through specialist, well-established platforms in which many classical music labels have participated for more than five years.
